The Cutera excel HR Laser is an advanced laser hair removal system for all skin types.
That’s right, you heard us! ALL skin types can be treated with this laser, even those
previously untreatable with HR Lasers. Cutera has Combined their new, high-power 755
nm Alexandrite laser with their proven long-pulse 1064 nm Nd:YAG laser! Excel HR’s new
technology, coupled with the superiority of sapphire contact cooling, is redefining modern
laser hair removal.
You may be wondering, what’s Nd:YAG? It’s simply the laser’s wavelength and strength.
The long-pulse 1064 nm Nd:YAG is widely considered the safest wavelength for laser hair
removal across the Fitzpatrick scale for skin types IV – VI. Cutter’s technology is the only
Nd:YAG platform to measurably deliver constant, sustained energy throughout the pulse
duration. This ensures consistent performance and amazing results for you!
This laser is an advanced, safe and effective treatment option for hair removal. Excel HR’s
innovations accommodate the demand for efficacy, safety, and patient comfort in our
modern aesthetic practices. This is a cutting-edge laser hair removal system specifically
designed for high-quality, high-volume output. In a patient preference study measuring comfort and satisfaction for laser hair removal treatments, 100% of participating patients preferred the excel HR over a comparable procedure. This study compared treatment experience for a single laser hair removal procedure — closely matching the energy settings between a competitive laser procedure and the excel HR procedure.
To successfully target deep follicular structures and efficiently deliver the proper energy,
excel HR laser hair removal system uses index matching and compression via sapphire
cooling contact. The result? Enhanced hair reduction was achieved using less fluence,
while providing improved patient comfort for all skin types, including tanned skin.
This laser is one of the few that can safely treat darker skin tones, where epidermal
protection is a critical factor. When treating darker skin types contact cooling is the

The ResurFX module of the M22 laser is the only true fractional non-ablative technology. One pass is all it takes. Unlike other fractional technologies, ResurFX needs only one pass to be effective, saving you time and protecting your skin as well! ResurFX uses a 1565 nm fiber laser and a very advanced scanner, which allows us to choose from more than 600 combinations for optimal treatment!
This laser also has an innovative CoolScan scanner for non-sequential scanning. The
algorithm places each fractional spot in a controlled manner to protect the tissue from
heat accumulation and overheating. This ability is unique to the ResurFX 1565nm fiber
laser. The ResurFX hand piece is also equipped with continuous contact cooling to
increase your comfort during treatment.
IPL is another amazing part of this laser. M22’s IPL with Optimal Pulse Technology gives us the ability to control the pulse shape and provide consistent results as well as gentler, more comfortable treatment! The M22 Universal IPL module enables us to treat a myriad of conditions with one laser! The Universal IPL handpiece is designed with 9 Expert Filters tailored to the condition being treated and computer-enabled filter recognition for enhanced safety and ease-of-use.
Our very own Sam Peck had the chance to try out this laser before we got it in and he was
amazed at his results! This is the experience in his own words:
“It took roughly 45 minutes, including numbing. There are two steps an application of
intense pulsed light followed by the ResurFX non-ablative fractional laser.
The procedure was started with numbing and then we moved forward with the IPL treatment. With the IPL, I felt quick flashes of heat on my face. I felt nothing on the fractional procedure, aside from an occasional prickly feeling. Immediately post, I was very red and was swelling
rapidly. The swelling maximized at 30-45 minutes and started to subside from there. I was
swollen for 24 hours with redness. The next day it looked like nothing happened. One
week later, I experienced brown specs that appeared like pepper on my face. Then they
simply fell off!” Later on, he said his skin had started to look “glassy”. The clarity and
brightness are visible to my eyes, just look at the difference – The results speak for themselves!
His results are absolutely amazing! This is from just one treatment with the ResurFX laser.
