Your Master Aesthetician will begin the appointment by consulting with you regarding your aesthetic goals, then they’ll get to work. We begin by making sure your lashes are completely clean, and removing any traces of makeup. It’s best to come to the appointment with no mascara or eye makeup on for optimal results.
To start the lash lifting process, we apply a pad under your eye with a skin-safe adhesive to protect your lower lashes and a silicone shield to protect the upper lid. This shield is essentially the mold for your lash curl. There are several sizes, and your Aesthetician will pick the one that’s best for your beauty goals. Your lashes are then brushed back over the shield, and treated with the lifting cream, which needs to sit for about 10 minutes (longer or shorter depending on how soft or course the lashes are). After applying the lifting cream, the curl is then locked in place with a setting lotion, which requires another five to 10 minutes of bonding. After this, the solution is removed and your lashes are officially lifted!
If you have naturally dark eyelashes, you can stop with just the lift. But if you have naturally light or translucent lashes we can top off the treatment, and apply a lash tint that really makes your lashes stand out! These two procedures are often done in tandem to get the most out of your treatment and maximize the results.
