Non-Surgical Jawline Contouring

From age 20, the skin starts losing collagen and at 40, the breakdown is at the rate of 1% per year. The jawline, eye area, and lips show visible signs of aging the most. Collagen supports the skin and eventually this loss leads to wrinkling and skin laxity.

Poor lifestyle choices, yo-yo dieting, smoking, excessive alcohol intake and stress accelerates the aging process. Over time elasticity is reduced, cheek volume is lost, and facial bones recede, leading to fat descent and jowliness. Time catches up and eventually, whatever the facial shape you had in your youth (oval, triangular or round), aging makes it more rectangular or bottom heavy with hollows in the undereyes and cheek areas.

At Juvly, Dr. Harper’s pioneering technique changed that. Non-surgical options now involve injecting Juvederm Voluma at strategic areas to replace lost volume. This dermal fillers, made of hyaluronic acid, a substance present in human tissues, now come in different viscosities and elasticity. This method mimics the more youthful state and leads to an uplifted look; rejuvenated with defined contours. Natural-looking and not bulky or overdone.

How to define your jawline without surgery?
Each vial of Juvederm Voluma contains 1ml. of clear, moldable gel. The quantity required during the non-surgical process depends on how much lift and contouring you desire to your jawline.
The gel is then injected at a precise depth in several areas along the jawline. Depending on your desired results, changes are observed subtly or dramatically.
Fillers used at Juvly for shaping your jawline
Our non-surgical procedures use denser and longer lasting fillers like Juvederm Voluma to create a more defined jawline. Depending on your aesthetic goals, usually, 2-4 syringes are needed for this treatment with results lasting up to two years.

Each person is different. Other treatments like Botox for masseter reduction and Kybella or CoolSculpting for the elimination of a double chin may be used achieve the best results.
